A Wicklow family have been celebrating the return of their 8 year old family pet dog, after being lost for two weeks in the Wicklow mountains.
Neesha a golden retriever, became separated while out for a family walk on Lugnaguilla with her owners on Saturday 23rd of January.
Last Saturday Jean Francois Bonnet and Ciara Nolan who were out hiking found Neesha in a frail state while climbing the mountain.
They managed to carry her down the mountain and contacted the Ash Animal Rescue centre in Wicklow, who managed to locate her owners and return her home.
