A status yellow rainfall warning is in place for six counties including the garden county.
The warning, which impacts Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork and Waterford, came into effect at 8am and will remain in place until 6 o’clock tomorrow morning.
Met Eireann says heavy rain and some spot flooding can be expected.
