The project team overseeing the upgrade of the M and N11 between Junction 4 and 14 has published the next stage of their work in selecting a route corridor for the upgrade works.
The Cyan corridor to the west of the N11 at the Glen of the Downes is among the six options still being considered, with the option of constructing a tunnel along this section of this route.
Initial proposals that would have affected residents in Delgany and Kilmacanougue along the east of the N11 have now been abandoned.
The selected corridors are still subject to change, with the project team expected to make a final decision by the summer.
