Sinn Féin has described the Programme for Government document as lacking ambition and is just more of the same, with a tint of green thrown in and doesn’t represent the change people voted for back in February
The party’s Wicklow T.D. John Brady says it’s full of jargon about Commissions, 127 reviews, 68 examinations, with44 policies to be considered, while specific projects and costings are totally ignored.
Deputy Brady says it also overlooks huge commuter issues affecting Wicklow.
He says rail projects in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford are to be prioritised, but the Rosslare to Dublin rail line is not mentioned and there is no reference to the N81 Tallaght to Hollywood upgrade or the N11 improvement scheme.
