A school in Wicklow and another in Gorey have each secured €50,000 in funding for a sports facility makeover.
Aldi and the IRFU have revealed that the two winning primary schools of their Rugby sticker competition, were Scoil Naomh Bríd in Kiltegan here in Wicklow and Tara Hill National School, in Gorey.
Despite schools being closed, and the promotion being put on hold for a several months, a huge number of schools entered the competition this year by collecting Aldi Play Rugby stickers and filling in posters, which they submitted to take part.
