The Higher Education Minister says the return of Trinity College Dublin to one of the top 100 universities in the world, will help to promote investment here.
TCD is ranked 98th in the 2023 QS list.
However, other Irish universities went down the pecking order.
UCD is in 181st place and NUI Galway in 270th.
