A 26-hour status orange rain warning will be in place for Cork, Kerry, Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford from tonight.
Met Eireann says the five counties can expect disruption, while flooding is likely from 10pm tonight until the early hours of Thursday morning.
A similar status yellow alert will run in Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary from 10pm for 24 hours.
While Cavan, Monaghan, Dublin, Kildare, Louth and Meath will be under a status yellow warning from 4am tomorrow until midnight.
