The dog park at the Murrough in Wicklow town was officially opened yesterday by Councillor Gail Dunne.
The park had already been open to dog walkers for a few months, but the official opening marked a day of celebration for all of the hard work that had been put into the site. The park has been cited as a welcome addition to existing amenities in the town that makes good use of a formerly derelict piece of land.
It was a great honour after immense hard work by all to officially open the dog park on the Murrough. This will be both a safe and enjoyable space for dogs and owners to enjoy.
