The scheme Initially launches with 100 shared e-bikes in Bray on 1st March.
It will expand to Greystones, Arklow, and Wicklow Town at later dates, with further growth planned based on demand.
The dockless e-bike service will be available through the MOBY MOVE app, allowing users to locate, unlock, and ride the e-bikes easily.
The e-bikes can be rented from and must be returned to public bike stands or virtual mandatory parking locations indicated in the app.
Once fully launched across the county, customers will be able to rent an e-bike in one town (e.g., Greystones) and park it in another (e.g., Bray) or even cycle to and park in County Dublin, where MOBY also operates a public e-bike scheme.
The service will be available 24/7, featuring a flexible pricing model that includes pay-per-use options.
There will also be subscription-based passes available before the summer. To celebrate the launch, the Council and MOBY will offer free ride passes during March, encouraging people to experience the convenience of e-bikes first-hand.
