
Vodafone's 4G service experienced difficulties with its mobile network in Co Wicklow and across Ireland today.
People across Co Wicklow were reporting on social media that they were finding it hard to access broadband services and make calls on Wednesday lunchtime.
"Vodafone Ireland is aware of a network issue currently affecting some of our 4G customers," the company said in a statement at the time.
"We are working hard to resolve this issue and hope to restore service as soon as possible. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused."
Users were reporting a resumption of service around 3pm, and Vodafone confirmed that full service had been restored shortly after that, " We experienced a technical issue to our mobile services today ,which may have impacted some customers phone calls or mobile data speeds. This issue has now been fully resolved and we thank you for your patience as we worked to get this fixed."
