Investigations are continuing into a fatal stabbing in Loughlinstown in South County Dublin earlier this week.
Father of two Derek Reddin, who was in his 30’s, died after being stabbed during a fight at Loughlinstown Drive at around half past twelve on Tuesday morning.
Reports say that his death may be related to a row at a party some weeks previous.
Two men were detained shortly after the incident and questioned at Shankill Garda station. They were released yesterday afternoon.
According to the Herald newspaper, one line of inquiry is that Mr. Reddin was stabbed in a case of self defence.
