The Wicklow Stories Film Festival 2024 is returning to Greystones in collaboration with Ardmore Studios.

This year, the Ardmore Studio Recognition Award will be announced and presented by Elaine Geraghty, the Managing Director of Ardmore Studios during the evening show. Recently the studio announced their partnership with the festival.

The Wicklow Stories Film Festival is returning for its third year in the Whale Theatre in Greystones on Saturday the 12th of October.

This year, the Ardmore Studio Recognition Award will be announced and presented by Elaine Geraghty during the evening show. Recently the studio announced their partnership with the festival. Ardmore Studios is the oldest and most iconic studio in the country and has been the base for many successful Irish and International productions. Ardmore Studios recognising the local productions of county Wicklow have proved the strong creative ties of the county.

Managing Director of Ardmore Studios Elaine Geraghty said:

"The fact that our submission rate soared by 300% on last year's numbers, surpassed our wildest expectations. It also reassured us in our initial, strong belief from 3 years ago, that there is a bigger need than ever for an independent Wicklow film festival to showcase these films, that perhaps otherwise would never get a chance to be appreciated by local audiences. These stories are extraordinary and we have an incredible lineup for you this year. The standard of submissions was extremely high and we are already thinking about expanding the festival next year to accommodate the growing amount of brilliant entries"
