The Greystones Scribblers Group created a video presentation of poetry and prose.
The Greystones Scribblers Group – Ireland’s first (and currently only) Multiple Sclerosis affected writers’ group in Ireland, created a bespoke video presentation of poetry and prose featured in an exhibition, ‘The Art of MS - Symptoms Under the Spotlight’ which launched yesterday to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and the wide-ranging symptoms of the disease to mark World MS Day 2022. This very unique exhibition displays 12 artworks created exclusively by people living with MS.
The Greystones Scribblers writing group is based in Greystones, Co. Wicklow and is comprised of Mark Mitchell, Julia Hart, Mark Talbot, Patrice Brady and Louise Wardell. The group is facilitated by author Carol Boland.
'The Art of MS – Symptoms under the Spotlight' is accessible to the public from Thursday 26 May to Wednesday 1 June 2022 from 9am-5pm and is located at the main foyer of Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, 152 - 160 Pearse St, Dublin 2.
You can find more information about MS and view the profiles of the artists who will feature at the exhibition at ms-society.ie/.
