An investigation has begun into the attendance of Supreme Court judge Seamus Woulfe at the Oireachtas golf society dinner last week.
The court has set up the inquiry headed by Ms Justice Susan Denham to look at whether the former Attorney General should've attended - and when he entered the room with 80 other people should he have left.
Recommendations will be made if needed to the Chief Justice.
