Tidy Town groups in Wicklow have taken eight awards at the annual ceremony held at the RDS in Dublin.
Volunteers in Arklow were among the big winners, taking a County First award and a Gold Medal while placing first in the Midlands and East region.
Trim in County Meath was named the overall winner for this year.
While 55,000 euro worth of funding has been announced for 34 Tidy Towns volunteer groups around County Wicklow.
Minister Heather Humphreys, says the additional funding will have a huge impact across towns and villages.
