
On the 34th anniversary of Hurricane Charley which caused devastation for parts of North Wicklow and South Dublin, some roads are impassable this morning due to flooding after Storm Francis overnight.
The South of the country is worst affected, especially parts of Cork, however some secondary routes here in Wicklow are also affected.
A status orange rain warning's in place across Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, with a yellow alert in place for Wicklow and the rest of the country. A status yellow wind warning's in effect for Wicklow, Wexford, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Munster
Road users in Wicklow and surrounding counties are being urged to exercise care on the roads again today
