It’s being reported that papers have been filed in the High Court by boxing trainer Pete Taylor against a number of parties, including the Irish Athletic Boxing Association and Wicklow County Council.
The council took back control of their premises run by Taylor at Bray harbour in June 2018, just days after a fatal shooting at the club, in which innocent bystander Bobby Messitt lost his life and two others, including Mr Taylor were injured.
According to the Journal.ie, the cases filed are personal injuries cases taken by Taylor and his partner Karen Browne.
The move comes after he launched legal proceedings last year against the Garda Commissioner and a number of news publications and journalists.
