The deal has been done between those in Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and Regional Independents who will work to form a new government.
The call comes after it took just short of nine hours at the weekend for an ambulance to be dispatched from Loughlinstown Hospital in South Dublin to a premises in Gorey.
As the impact of the freezing weather and subsequent thaw continue to be felt in the coming days, there may be additional disruptions to supplies across the county.
Earlier this month, Uisce Éireann informed Wicklow County Council of an issue with the Rathdown Sewage Pumping Station located in Greystones, which resulted in an overflow of sewage to the sea coast just south of Greystones Harbour.
