Planning permission has been approved for a nursing home development in Kilcoole.
The permission will allow for construction of a 3 storey facility on the Darraghville House / Convent Lands located at the entrance to the Village as from the Greystones direction.
The facility will include 109 ensuite bedrooms alongside a shared dining room, a café and visitor activity area.
Councillor Tom Fortune says the project is part of a wider plan to develop the area.
