An Bord Pleanála has granted full planning permission to Cairn Homes for a housing development at Farrankelly in Delgany despite local opposition.
The appeals board granted the developer planning permission in a fast-track process that will see 426 new homes built on the site, comprising of 245 houses, 93 apartments and 88 duplex units within an overall site of 52 acres.
Cairn is currently building on 15 sites in the Greater Dublin Area, which will deliver over 5,250 new homes.
