Planning has been approved to improve facilities at Blessington GAA Club.
A planning application was submitted to Wicklow County Council in November of last year seeking approval to build a single-storey structure at the club grounds at Blessington Demesne.
Planning has now been approved with construction to start on a referee’s room, changing rooms with adjoining toilet and shower facilities and extra storage capacity.
Permission has also been granted for a small tuck shop on site and additional works in association with the project.
