The number of new cars licensed in January dropped slightly when compared to the same month last year.
25,093 vehicles were licensed last month, down from 21,140 in January 2021.
Figures from The Society of the Irish Motor Industry show 631 vehicles were sold in the garden county last month, compared to 579 at the same time last year.
This marks an increase of 9%.
