36 year-old William Moorehouse was found injured in a playground in Ballywaltrim in Bray on Sunday evening and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Six arrests have been made in connection with this murder so far.
A teenage boy and a man in his 20s remain in Garda custody today, following their arrests yesterday.
Four men, aged in their 20s, 30s and 40s, have already been released without charge.
An examination of the scene in Wicklow has now been complete, and a post-mortem exam has been carried out by the State Pathologist.
Following the results of this post-mortem exam, Gardai made the decision to upgrade the investigation to murder.
