27 people accessed emergency accommodation in County Wicklow last month.
The numbers in Kildare are less than Wicklow and Meath combined.
The three counties make up the mid east region where 62 families including 130 children were homeless in December.
Latest figures from the Department of Housing show 9,492 people were homeless in February, an increase of 4 percent on the total in January when it stood at 9,150.
There are more than 2,600 children in emergency accommodation, according to these figures.
These totals from the government don't include the numbers of rough sleepers, those in direct provision, women in refuge centres or Ukrainian refugees in pledged accommodation..
