The proposal will see the electrified network extended from the Connolly/Spencer Dock area to west of Maynooth and to the M3 Parkway.

The proposal will see the electrified network extended from the Connolly/Spencer Dock area to west of Maynooth and to the M3 Parkway.

This is the second round of public consultation on the upgrades.

Changes from the first round include the removal of a bridge at Coolmine, an increase in the number of trains per hour from 6 to 12, and a proposed new station at Spencer Dock.
