The State has increased the number of intern doctors it is planning to hire this year.
The Health Minister, Wicklow T.D. Simon Harris says it's been increased by over 40 percent.
Meanwhile one of the biggest concerns has been the number of cases of Covid 19 in Nursing homes. However the HSE says the number of people who recover from the virus in nursing homes is higher than those who have passed away.
