Mr Justice Seamus Woulfe has rejected a suggestion that he should step down over his attendance at the controversial golf society dinner in Clifden last August.
Party leaders are set to meet over the controversy surrounding the attendance of Supreme Court Judge Seamus Woulfe at an Oireachtas golf society event.
It follows the publication of correspondence with the Chief Justice Frank Clarke, who says he thought Seamus Woulfe should step down.
He's refusing to do so.
The cabinet heard advice from the Attorney General today on the role of the Oireachtas but no decision was made on how to proceed.
