A Motorist was hit with several fines in Wicklow last weekend after being caught by Gardai dumping rubbish in the Sally Gap.
The driver was seen by Gardaí on an anti-crime patrol, dumping a plastic shopping bag containing soft drinks bottles, fast food wrappings and cans, on the side of the road. The man was forced to pick up his rubbish and was issued a €150 litter fine and €100 fines were also issued for each occupant of the vehicle for breaching the 5 kilometre travel restrictions.
