The Health Minister, Wicklow T.D. Stephen Donnelly is being asked to explain why two senior officials resigned from the Sláintecare programme
.Its Executive Director, Laura Magahy and Professor Tom Keane, Chair of the Implementation Advisory Council, both resigned yesterday.
The Sláintecare reform programme was set up in 2017, with the aim of ending private practice in public hospitals.
Labour Party Leader Alan Kelly, says he's concerned about the programme's future, and is calling for the Health Minister to act:
