The Town and Village Renewal Scheme, which promotes rural and community development, provides funding for projects that make towns more attractive places in which to live and work.

Since the Scheme was introduced in 2016, almost €53 million has been approved for over 670 projects across the country.
Wicklow County Council will advertise for expressions of interest shortly, before selecting suitable proposals which will be submitted to the Department by the end of June.
