The forestry sector in Ireland could lose as many as 12 thousand jobs due to the backlog in granting afforestation and felling licences.
That's according to the Social Economic, Environmental Forestry Association of Ireland.
The group is trying to highlight the crisis today, with a series of online protests targeting the social media profiles of Government TDs.
