The Irish Farmers' Association is pleading with dog owners to take responsibility for their dogs following the killing of the three breeding ewes and 13 lambs.
The dogs escaped from a family home in Glenmalure Valley in the Wicklow Mountains.
Daniel Dowling, the owner of the farm, says although its the first sheep kill his family has suffered, it's still very common in the area.
