Two months since it was first issued, Irish water says its Do Not Consume Water Notice for customers supplied by the Barndarrig Public Water Supply, remains in place.
The notice was first issued on the 9th of February and affects 213 residences from Barndarrig village to parts of Kilbride.
It followed elevated levels of nitrite detected in the water supply.
Irish Water says the water is not safe for consumption or for the preparation of foods and that boiling water will not eliminate the threat, but it is safe for hygiene and use in washing machines and dishwashers.
An alternative water supply remains in place for customers impacted by the notice, with bottled Water available at the car park opposite Barndarrig church.
