Dangerous road conditions have been reported in some parts of the country this morning after heavy snowfall overnight.
An orange snow, ice and rain warning remains in place for most of Munster, while Wicklow is under a yellow warning for snow, ice and low temperatures.
Road users are being urged to use extreme caution as sub-zero temperatures and limited visibility are expected in parts of the county.
Travel disruption is expected on some routes, with some flooding possible in Munster.
