Coronation Street star William Roache has been awarded the Guinness World Record for the longest serving TV soap star.
The 88 year-old has played Ken Barlow since the show's first episode almost 60 years ago.
The actor, who was presented with the certificate during a break in filming, says the cobbles have given him "a lifetime of wonderful memories."
