A Wicklow visitor’s attraction has taken top prize in the themed entertainment section of an international awards competition.
The Cool Planet Experience in Enniskerry was awarded the top Global Honour for outstanding achievement by the international body, the Themed Entertainment Association.
The Thea Awards are internationally recognised as one of the most prestigious awards of the global attractions industry.
Previous recipients in the category include Titanic Belfast, the National September 11 Memorial Museum in New York and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter in London.
The awards will be formally presented at the 26th Annual TEA Thea Awards Gala, which will be held at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California in April 2020.
