Aircoach has confirmed that a comprehensive review of their Dublin and Wicklow routes and service demand is underway.
In a statement the company said;
"The goal of this review is to align our service offering to customer demand in a way that best fulfils our mission of providing quick, reliable, and frequent services for customers travelling to and from Dublin Airport.
Aircoach is currently engaging in the necessary regulatory discussions with the NTA, and following regulatory approval, we will be in a position to communicate further on the proposed changes.”
Under the proposals the 702 route which is operated by commercial operators Aircoach will cease servicing Wicklow in late February or early March.
Wicklow Sinn Fein Deputy John Brady has called on the NTA and the Minister to intervene to ensure that a direct service linking Wicklow and the Airport continues.
