
Lighting up events get underway in the Garden County.
Greystones Municipal District and local businesses get the holiday atmosphere underway from 4 o’clock tomorrow afternoon with family fun and music at Burnaby Park, with performances from ‘Greystones Players’ and the Holyhead Male Voice Choir. Santa Claus will arrive at 5 o’clock
In Wicklow town the main street will be closed to traffic between 4 and 6 o’clock tomorrow evening to facilitate the annual Santa Parade which sets off from Market square, and the turning on of the town’s Christmas lights.
It also marks the return of The Wicklow Christmas Market, which will run each weekend up to the 15th of December.
Arklow town will also get the festive season underway from 4 o’clock tomorrow afternoon, when Santa leaves the Bridgewater shopping centre as he makes his way to the Main street car park for the lighting up ceremony.
While in Bray hundreds of people are expected to turn out to watch the Christmas lights being switched on at the civic plaza, with events getting underway at four o’clock tomorrow afternoon.
