Brays Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will become multiple record breakers when they step into the ring tonight.
Both will earn the biggest ever purses for women boxers and the bout at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is expected to be the most viewed female fight of all-time by some distance. Taylor is reportedly set to earn €5.8million while it is understood Serrano will earn a higher figure despite being the challenger and having lost the first fight between the pair.
The event is being shown live on Netflix worldwide, meaning 282 million subscribers will have access to Taylor’s fight, which is expected to start around 3am Irish time. Taylor comes into the fight with just one defeat from 24 professional fights, which came against Chantelle Cameron in May last year before the Bray Bomber avenged the loss six months later.
