Barnardos Criticises Waiting List For Children Accessing Speech And Language Therapists

Nearly 250 children have been waiting at least two years to see a speech and language therapist.

According to new HSE figures, 381 children in parts of west Wicklow, Dublin and Kildare  have been waiting for at least 12 months.
151 children in Cork and Kerry have been waiting for more than a year for an initial assessment.
