The Department of Integration say the Crooksling site has "robust, weather-proof tents".
Asylum seekers who had been living in tents outside the international protection office in Dublin City Centre received a letter this morning informing them that they did not have permission to stay on Mount Street.
The letter also stated that they would be prosecuted if they stayed in tents in the area again.
Some of the asylum seekers who have been moved to Crooksling have told me that there are six bunk beds in each tent on the site.
They also say they were not given much notice and were moved on buses earlier this morning.
There is a high Garda presence in the area, while there are also security guards at the gates of the St. Brigid's Home site.
