Arklow Town Says They Are Open For Business As Usual Despite Works In The Town.

Arklow Town Team is running a business campaign to show that the town is open for business as usual. 

Wicklow County Council in collaboration with Arklow Town Team is running a business campaign to show that the town is open for business as usual. 

Arklow is currently a transformation with large infrastructural schemes underway which will enhance the town for its residents and visitors alike.  It is important that businesses are supported for the duration of the works in the town.  

Wicklow County Council has invited businesses to submit a post relating to their business for social media distribution. The campaign focuses on promoting businesses in the town to show that Arklow is ‘Open for Business’ during the current works. 

They encourage businesses to submit a post if they wish to be included in the campaign to promote what they can offer their customers. 

Wicklow County Council will continue to expand the initiative to support local businesses. 

The ‘Open for Business’ campaign will run for the summer months on social media to help spotlight local businesses in the town and encourage people to shop local.

If anyone would like to receive regular updates on works being carried out in the town, they are invited to submit their request for a form to be included on the email distribution list to arklowmd@wicklowcoco.ie.

Wicklow County Council said it is important that the lines of communication remain open throughout this period of transformation.
