Almost a quarter of 9 year old's were found to be overweight or obese, according to a new report.
The research conducted in 2018, is part of the ESRI's Growing Up In Ireland study.
It found that being overweight was higher amongst girls than boys, as well as those from less advantaged backgrounds.
