Up to 300-thousand people are expected to attend the National Ploughing Championships over the next three days in Co. Carlow.
Buyers and visitors from more than a dozen countries will visit the event, which has 1,500 exhibitors.
The event is designed to showcase Irish farming, food and culture.
People heading to the National Ploughing Championships are being advised to plan their route in advance..
