John Brady elected into the Dáil on the eleventh count.

John Brady (Sinn Fein) has taken the third out of four seats in Wicklow. The announcement was made at 2:56 am on Monday morning. 

John Brady succeeded with 11,945 votes and 530 surplus votes. John Brady has been TD for Wicklow since the 2016 election and has succeeded in re-election in 2024.

The quota remains as 11,415.

The eleventh count had 1,158 Non Transferable Votes. 

The count is as follows:

John Brady (Sinn Fein) - 1305, count votes, 11,945 total votes. Elected

Shay Cullen (Independent) - 1,149 count votes, 6,102 total votes.

Stephen Donnelly (Fianna Fail)- 594 count votes, 6,314 total votes.

Edward Timmins (Fine Gael) - 475  count votes, 7,482 total votes.

John Brady's surplus votes will be distributed and will continue shortly.
