Sinead O'Connor died from natural causes, a coroner has confirmed.
The 56-year-old was found unresponsive at her flat in Herne Hill, South London in July, with no cause of death stated.
But today, a London coroner's court confirmed she died of natural causes, and the coroner has "therefore ceased their involvement in her death."
Thousands of people lined the streets near her former home at Montebello along Bray's seafront last August to pay their respects to the singer-songwriter.
It was confirmed earlier today that fans will be able to pay tribute to her once more this year.
A concert in her honour, and former Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan, who died late last year, is to be held in New York in March.
